Important To Know About Video Brochures

The following is from Amy Hafen, owner of MediaFast

Video brochures are the next evolution of digital media and MediaFast is at the forefront of US suppliers.

For years, we’ve been able to educate clients on the difference between duplication, replication, CD audio, CD Rom, DVD5, DVD9, DVD10, BD25, BD50, sleeves, entrapments and many other matters pertaining to digital marketing. Because we educated ourselves on those subjects, we can do it confidently and proficiently. I want us to do the same with video brochures.

I decided to focus this article on information I believe will help us all be more educated. Possessing more knowledge about video brochures will be beneficial as we all make decisions moving forward.

The electronic components used in video brochures are produced in mass for cell phones. As specifications and qualities of individual components change for cell phones, the same thing happens to components used to make video brochures. Speakers, lcd screens, memory size, batteries and all other components are affected.

As changes in components occur, the quality of components used to make video brochures differ from factory to factory. There is a huge market for recycled or refurbished electronic components. Many video brochure suppliers have decided to use recycled or refurbished components to reduce their costs per unit, which we feel is not a path we want to follow.

At MediaFast, we’ve determined the risk of using substandard components in our products is too great. We value our clients. Their brands and the messages they use video brochures to deliver are far too important to risk delivering with low quality products. Increasing profits by selling products made with less than Grade A brand new components is not a practice we could feel good about following. As a result, MediaFast does not use any recycled or refurbished components, ever!

Over the past few months, competition has really heated up in our industry. We feel it is important for us to stand out as the best in the business.

Every product we produce is made with only brand new, Grade A components. This includes screens, batteries, motherboards, memory, speakers, USB fittings, headphone jacks, etc. We feel the increased price of high quality electronic components is the only option that will completely satisfy our clients. Furthermore, the quality we provide isn’t only found in electronics. Our print, spot UV, foil and lamination meet rigid quality standards as well, and our clients frequently complement the print and finish quality of the products we produce.

The quality of our video brochures is one of the reasons we are having so much success. I’ve been told horror stories from customers whose video brochures failed at the most inopportune moments. One client told me a story of how his video brochure (from another supplier) permanently failed while the President/CEO of the customer he was selling was holding it. He had been working on the deal for 6 months. What a horror story! Immediately after that experience, he contacted us and ordered 500 video brochures after grilling me about our quality standards. He’s been happy ever since.

We’ll post more articles and pages on our website over the coming months that focus on educating our clients about video brochures. I encourage all of you to educate yourselves by asking questions, reading our blog posts and navigating our website. I believe the video brochure orders will continue to increase over the next few months as people become more and more aware of the value they offer in business.
