The Ultimate Guide To Deciding If You Will Use Video Brochures

Deciding if you will use video brochures is a big deal. Have you been thinking about them for your company?

True, they’re more costly than typical marketing media you may have been using. On the other hand, they could significantly change the revenue your company receives considering how well they perform.

With those factors in mind, is that what has you on the fence?

Either way, in this post, my goal is to help you make the choice. We understand the fear of spending more on marketing than you’re used to spending. However, having seen all we’ve seen, using video brochures seems like a no-brainer.

What is a Video Brochure?

A video brochure is a type of marketing tool that combines traditional print with modern video technology.

Essentially, they’re hand-held video players that have a small HD IPS video screen, speakers, and a rechargeable battery inside. They also open like a book, or traditional brochure. And when they’re opened, their video content starts playing automatically, showcasing the product, service, or opportunity they’re presenting.

The way they work is quite simple as well. No internet connection is required. A magnetic switch activates the screen and speakers when they’re opened, and they typically include buttons to control pause/play, volume up or down, and rewind or skip forward. There may also be buttons for multiple videos, and they include printed content like logos, contact information, catch phrases, and/or bullet points.

Examples of Video Brochures

To make the vision easier, here are examples we’ve created for clients.

Benefits of Using Video Brochures

Through the power of video, video brochures have the ability to say and show a lot of information in a short period of time. They’re also more interesting than traditional print marketing. As a result, recipients tend to share them with others who influence their decisions.

In a nutshell, they’re an intriguing marketing piece that engages targeted prospects with sound and motion. They produce measurable results while making companies more memorable, and they’re ideal for sales, brand awareness, trade shows, and many other purposes.

Thinking about videos, here are some interesting tidbits from Forbes:

  • When trying to learn about products, services, or opportunities, 59% of decision-makers say they prefer watching videos over motionless content.
  • 80% of consumers say they’re more likely to buy something after watching a video about it.
  • 90% say videos strongly impact their purchasing decisions.
  • When considering making a purchase, 65% of executives say they contact companies soon after watching one of their videos for research.

With all of that said, the key to success with videos for business purposes is to make sure the right people watch them. Coincidentally, by being hand-delivered or mailed to targeted prospects, video brochures were created specifically for that purpose.

How Salespeople Thrive With Video Brochures

To explain more, here is the President of MediaFast, Amy Hafen, talking about how video brochures help salespeople increase sales.

Practically Like Hand-Held TV Commercials

Have you ever wanted to have a TV commercial for your company? Well, maybe you have actually had one…

Anyway, all things considered, TV commercials aren’t necessarily sensible for most companies. Why? Because their target audience is too small of a market for such a wide scope, which is exactly why video brochures are perfect.

You see, video brochures cost significantly less. And since they can be hand-delivered or mailed to targeted prospects, money isn’t wasted trying to connect with consumers who don’t qualify as a company’s most-likely-customers.

Plus, targeted prospects actually enjoy receiving them, and they share them with others who influence their decisions. What other sales or marketing tools can that be said about?

And with respect to emailing videos, well… That doesn’t work well at all. Even when emails contain the same video content as video brochures, video brochures blow them away.

Oh, and when compared to pay-per-click, they often cost less per piece than keywords used in many PPC campaigns. To learn more about pricing, click MediaFast Product Pricing.

Get Top-Notch Video Brochures From MediaFast

If you’re wondering why I refer to our video brochures as top-notch, here’s why:

We only use brand new, Grade A components to make them, which ensures the best quality.

In addition, we don’t lock video content on our products so our clients can update them whenever they want. However, that’s not something our competitors can claim. We simply don’t think that’s fair though. We just think they should be able to update and reuse them whenever they want, and it also prevents them from having to purchase new units as often.

Furthermore, we operate with a consultant-style, white-glove approach, meaning we keep ourselves available for interactions as much as our clients would like.

And last but not least, customer satisfaction is our highest priority. For instance, here’s a recent Google review from Alissa Steele, one of our clients.

MediaFast is an incredible company to work with when it comes to custom designing a unique marketing tool. From customer service to the product itself, MediaFast was fabulous from the start of the process to the finishing product. They helped us design and produce a show stopping video brochure that has quickly become one of our most cherished and popular resources. From the quality of brochure to the screen resolution of the videos, we couldn’t be happier with the service provided by MediaFast!
